I recently bought a cool thing off Amazon. It’s an adapter for iPhone, making it easy to transfer photos from your big bulky camera to your phone. The adapter itself is very easy to use: simply insert your SD card and plug the adapter into your lightning port:

The first, and most prominent choice on this screen is to delete all contents of your SD card.

Let’s be real: deleting your entire SD card is usually an action taken very rarely, only really done when 1) you have to, because of lack of space, or 2) you are sure you have a backup.

This is a button with much less potential for disaster than its brother “Delete All”. However, the use-case is almost equally difficult to grasp. How often do you want to import all your photos and videos to your phone? Even if you wanted to, would you be able to?

Here’s my solution.

In three easy steps, we are able to import all the photos we want without running the risk of deleting or importing anything we don’t want.
