Abstract:Traditional coherent demodulation of MPSK signal will lead to high BER in the low SNR condition. Using the characteristic of chaos system which is sensitive to the input signal, this paper designs a demodulator of the weak MPSK signal in low SNR. Taking advantage of the different effect of MSPK signal phase to the Duffing system, this paper put forward a method to demodulate the weak MPSK signal based on a row of Duffing oscillators and research the quantity and the phase of the Duffing oscillators. At last this paper simulates the demodulator based on MATLAB platform and proves that the method can demodulate weak MPSK signal under -18dB SNR.
