与买家谈话的细节

很多時候買家會體諒我們不是英語母語人群，對于一些中式英語會一笑了之。但起碼！你說出的Chinglish不能得罪他啊！

Excuse me——需要從人群穿過、需要提起對方注意時說，“借光”、“打斷一下”的意思。
Sorry——最常用的是表達共情、遺憾，但要具體說明為何、對誰；也可以用在對結果輕微的無心之失、極微小錯誤的口頭道歉。
My apologies——職場上最常用的道歉。只要給對方造成具體的不便了，不管是己方主觀原因還是客觀條件的問題，都可以使用。適用于書面以及口頭。
It’s my mistake/I take full responsibility for what happened——非常鄭重其事地認錯。犯了將導致年終評價降級、甚至被炒魷魚的重大錯誤時使用。I take?responsibility for”可以說：“It’s my mistake. I take full responsibility for what happened.?I’m working on the revision now.”

買家：Can you explain the manufacturing process?
回答：Of course. ×
買家立刻在心里劃了一個差，因為，老外只有在回答一些答案明顯的問題的時候才用“of course”，隱含的意思是“我當然知道答案，這么簡單你認為我不懂嗎”。
正確的回答應當是：
Sure. √
必須慎用of course有關的表達，特別在郵件里，因為感受不到對方的語氣。可以用sure, certainly, no problem, you bet （口語）等表達。

這是一句純中式英語直譯，你想表達的是“你知道xx嗎？不知道啊，那我來告訴你。”
但在老外聽來，有那么一絲絲不尊重，感覺你在嘲笑他的無知，并在指導他。
正確的表達應當是：
I would like to talk about XX. √

yellow hair
當你想描述一個外國人是一頭金發時，不要說“yellow hair”。因為外國人很在意顏色詞，稍不注意就有種族歧視的風險。
金發是“blond hair” √。
同樣，也不要用“yellow”דblack”דwhite”×形容人的膚色。如果想形容被曬黑了，可以用“tan”這個詞。
此外千萬不要用“negro”×這樣有強烈歧視含義的俚語。

你想表達的是：“這個價格很合適了”。
但這里的合適用“suitable”這個詞，是不合適的。“suitable”通常以否定的形式出現在告示或通知中，比如：
這部影片兒童不宜。
This movie is not suitable for children.
價格合適的正確表達是：
The price is appropriate. √
The price is good. √

當你在與買家敲定時間時，發現明天很忙，不能應約，此時說：
I have something to do tomorrow. ×
會讓買家啼笑皆非——誰還沒點事情做啊！
正確的表達是：
I’d love to, but I can’t make it at that time. √
I am tied up all day tomorrow. √

當你詢問買家意見時：

How do you think about the plan? ×
這兩種說法都有點奇怪。
通常的搭配是：
How do you like the plan? √
What do you think about the plan? √

“how to say”是最常見但也最不地道的中式英語了。
仔細看這句話：

你會發現它甚至不能算是一個擁有完整結構的句子！
正確的表達是：
How do you say it in English? √
