oswatch（簡稱osw）是oracle的一個操作系統(tǒng)監(jiān)控工具，oswatch是一個輕量級的操作系統(tǒng)監(jiān)控工具，通過調(diào)用系統(tǒng)的命令完成信息的收集，并形成歷史數(shù)據(jù)，命令如下：ps ，top ，mpstat ，iostat，netstat ，traceroute vmstat 。支持的操作系統(tǒng)有AIX ，Tru64 ，Solaris ，HP-UX ，Linux 。 可以在metlink直接下載：OS Watcher User Guide [ID 301137.1]?? （Metalink Note:301137.1）? 下載的就是tar包，然后直接解壓就可以使用的。osw是一個java應(yīng)用，可以在服務(wù)器上運(yùn)行。

注意：osw工具需要以root用戶來操作哦！

1、安裝部署（解壓既可）

從上面看，權(quán)限有點(diǎn)怪，不過不管它，繼續(xù)！

2、啟動監(jiān)控器

啟動監(jiān)控就是調(diào)用startOSW.sh腳本。
# ./startOSW.sh arg1 arg2

arg1：數(shù)據(jù)收集的間隔，以秒為單位。
arg2: 數(shù)據(jù)收集多長時間，以小時為單位。

例如：

初次使用會在OSW_HOME目錄下面生成一個archive目錄，此目錄就是存放采樣信息的：

3、停止監(jiān)控器

停止osw就是在其它終端運(yùn)行stopOSW.sh腳本

例如：

4、生成圖形
